Abcom Singapore is pleased to announce the completion of its acquisition of Assets & Non Ferrous business activity of NatFerrous Pte. Ltd. (Part of NatSteel – a Tata Steel enterprise).
The facility is approx 50,000 SFT of yard space and is equipped to receive and process scrap material, keeping the highest quality standards before
shipping the finished materials to buyers around the world.
The equipment include:
- Dedicated digital weight bridge
- vazzani baling machine
- Plasma cutter
- Gas torch cutting
- Mobile sheers
- Alligator sheers, vertical soft press, hand held analyzers
- Radioactive detection equipments, forklifts, loading ramp etc

The business activities would continue to focus on:
- Stainless Steel Scrap.
- Nickel Chrome Alloys & High Temperature Alloys
- Aerospace Materials
- Coblat and Molly Bearing Scrap
- Titanium Scrap
- Aluminium Scrap

The transfer of business has been carried out with full operational support from NatSteel with mutual interest to preserve the business value
created over many years by NatFerrous. Most of the yard operational and office staff of NatFerrous have also already joined ABCOM to
ensure smooth transition of business and communication.
The operations of ABCOM Singapore and its business activity would move to the newly acquired location at No. 29 Jalan Buroh, Singapore on the 1ST of Aug, 2009.
